Caparo AP Braking Limited - Now a part of the Caparo Group
ANNOUNCEMENT
We are pleased to announce the acquisition of AP Braking (formally AP Hydraulics) of Leamington Spa, Warwickshire. The company is recognised as the UK market leading manufacturer of specialist braking systems for small and medium volume on and off road vehicles.
AP will remain at its current premises and will operate as a subsidiary of the Caparo Vehicle Products grouping. It has a Turnover of £15m pa and 170 employees. The principle customers are Jaguar, Land Rover, LDV, LTI, Morgan and many others. Along with very strong brands including the world famous "Heritage" brand - AP Braking has a long and illustrious heritage of high quality engineering and testing of all hydraulically actuated braking systems.
The company will be known as "Caparo AP Braking Ltd" in order to fully leverage our own brand with that of AP.
